The journey so far

Carter Rose Sherman is a Jeff-nominated actor based in Chicago, Illinois. Though she originally hails from Missouri and dearly misses the cows from her childhood backyard, she loves the theatre family she’s found in the Windy City.

Theatre is her soul-mate. Since prior to graduating with a degree in theatre from North Central College in 2019 to now, she’s been lucky to perform on large stages as well as tiny but mighty ones. Most of all, she finds passion in telling stories through song and movement whether the house seats 20 or 200. Her favorite projects include Nell Gwynn at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Heathers (Veronica) at The Edge Theatre, Miranda: A War Torn Fable (Amelia) with Impostors Theatre Company, and The Wild Party (Dolores, U/S Kate) with Blank Theatre Company

Writing is her passion project. Carter holds a minor in creative writing, and her debut poetry anthology, All We Have Wrought, will be available to purchase later this year!

Influencing has been an unexpected privilege. Though, like many others, she was shocked to go viral, she’s now enthused to use her platform to promote sustainable fashion, creativity, and a safe space for everyone her content resonates with. She’s been lucky to collaborate with Girlfriend Collective (a sustainable girlie’s dream), Poshmark, Maude, and many more.
